Do you find music ap”peal”ing? Then the Bell Choir is for you. This is one group where, even if you don’t know how to read music, you can still be a part! You will soon graduate from color-coding to reading the notes. Playing in church about once a month, this group participates in the Farmington Valley Bell Festival in May, and the newly formed Simsbury Bell Festival in April. This is a marvelous opportunity to play with bell choirs from other area churches, and the choir has made many friends among them in the past 25 years. There are always a number of openings to fill, and they offer individual training to newcomers by experienced players. Directed by Mark Mercier, the group rehearses Thursdays at 6:00 p.m. (So you can go from there to choir practice!)
